North Shore EcoTours – Huakai Iki Hiking Adventure

Explore private conservation land on Oahu's North Shore during this half-day hiking adventure with North Shore EcoTours. After meeting in Haleiwa, travel by 4WD to the trailhead and continue on foot through a landscape of ridges, streams and tropical vegetation away from the island's busier sightseeing areas.

Along the trail, look for native and introduced plants growing throughout the rainforest, including bamboo, guava, bananas and fragrant ginger. Your guide adds another layer to the hike with stories about Hawaiian history, ancient mythology, local culture and the plants and animals found in the area.
