Kailua Beach Adventures – 2 Hour Guided Kayak Excursion

Meet your guide on the soft sands of Kailua Beach and learn the basics of paddling a stable sit-on-top kayak. Once everyone is comfortable, set out across clear turquoise water toward nearby Popoi'a Island, a protected seabird sanctuary where green sea turtles often glide beneath the hull. After landing on a small stretch of white sand, follow your guide on a 20-minute eco hike that circles tide pools alive with rock crabs, rainbow runners and other coastal creatures.

The group then paddles back to shore for a picnic lunch and two relaxed hours of beach time. Snorkel with reef fish, catch a few waves on a boogie board or simply stretch out on a beach mat and watch the clouds drift past the Ko'olau Range.
