About Winter Whale Watching Adventure in Kauai
Head out from Eleele for a two-hour winter whale watching adventure along Kauai's south shore. The boat keeps you close to the water while the crew searches for humpback whales and other marine life moving through the area during Hawaii's winter whale season.
Wildlife sightings vary from day to day, so the captain adjusts the route based on ocean conditions and where activity is being reported. Along the way, enjoy the ride, coastal views and commentary from the crew while keeping your camera ready for blows, tail flukes, breaches and possible dolphin sightings.
Light snacks and cold drinks are included, and the tour returns to the same meeting point after approximately two hours on the water.

- Minimum age is 4 years, and all minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Emergency life jackets onboard; standard life jackets are for children only.
- No refunds for late arrivals or undisclosed health concerns.
- Guests with back, neck, or heart issues are not permitted to join this experience.
- No recent surgeries that may be affected by jarring, bouncing, or high-impact activity.
- Expectant mothers cannot participate.
- Guests with a history of seizure are not permitted to join this experience.
- Guests must be fit to walk 200 yards to and from the boat.
Meeting & Check-in
- Meeting point: Please ARRIVE 45 minutes before departure to allow time for a smooth check-in process. Park in the gravel lot at the end of Waialo Road. Check-in CLOSES 15 minutes prior to departure. Guests not present for the safety briefing are considered no-shows, and are not eligible for a refund or reschedule.
- Pickup: Meet at the designated start point.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
