About Kona Mike’s Surf Adventures – Group Surf Lesson
Get your first taste of surfing at Kahalu'u Bay with a small-group lesson led by Kona Mike's Surf Adventures. The setting is welcoming for beginners, and the smaller group size gives your instructor more time to help you get comfortable with the board, the water and the rhythm of catching a wave.
The lesson begins near the beach, where you will get suited up and go over the basics before heading into the water. Whether this is your first time surfing or you want to improve your technique, the instructor works with the group to help each guest build confidence and make progress during the session.

Meeting & Check-in
- Meeting point: When you arrive at Kahaluu Beach Park, you will find parking on Alii Dr. Our Sand colored Surf Van is located on the beach railing at Kahaluu Beach Park. A short walk over to our Surf Van where we will suit up in our water gear and begin our surf lesson!!!!
- Pickup: Meet at the designated start point.
