About Mauna Loa Helicopters – Private Waterfall Experience
Secure a whole helicopter for your party—this private charter rate covers the flight for up to four passengers—then rise toward Kohala's misty valleys where constant rain feeds ribbons of water that plunge two thousand feet down sheer, jungle-draped cliffs. From this vantage, black-sand shorelines come into view far below, reachable only by air or sea.
The return leg sweeps along the coast, tracing the outlines of ancient Hawaiian villages, heiau temples and loko i'a fishponds before the white arcs of hidden beaches signal the journey's end. Every seat enjoys floor-to-ceiling windows, perfect for framing waterfalls, beaches and rainforest in a single breathtaking shot.
